Whether you are selling homes in downtown Toronto or real estate in Hamilton if you’ve looked around lately you might have noticed many real estate professionals who are clamoring for your business by offering many different incentives for you to choose them over one of their colleagues. Probably one of the most popular forms of incentives is to offer the buyer or seller a portion of their commission as a cashback incentive program.
This could be anything from a flat fee to a percentage of whatever the agent makes as part of his commission. Not even though know this sounds very well and good you have to ask what the motives that are for that particular agent to offer this. it could be a sign of how good the agent is doing a particular job since you have to wonder if the agent knows they’re going to make less of the deals just to get your business how willing are they to go above and beyond the call of duty to get you your home or to get you the best possible price when they know they’re losing a big portion of their paycheck.
While it’s okay to go with a real estate agent who are using these types of promotional tactics you should stop and think for a minute about whether this is the best choice for you and if there are agents were offering a more reasonable compensation package or maybe look for an agent through referrals from friends or family.
